I never dreamed that I would have to face the prospect of not living in the United States of America, at least not the one I've known all my life. I've never wished to live anywhere else. This is my home, and I was privileged to be born here, but today I woke up and as I had my morning coffee, I realized that everything is about to change.No matter how I vote, no matter what I say, something evil has invaded our nation, and our lives are never going to be the same. I've been confused by the hostility of family and friends. I look at people I've known all my life, so hate-filled that they agree with opinions they would never express as their own. I think I may have, well, entered the Twilight Zone.We've become a nation that has lost its collective mind. You can't justify this insanity. If a guy pretends to be a woman, you're required to pretend with him. Somehow, it's un-American for the census to count how many Americans are in America. Russians influencing our elections are bad, but illegals voting in our elections are good.It was cool for Joe Biden to blackmail the president of Ukraine, but it's an impeachable offense if Donald Trump inquires about it. 20 is too young to drink a beer, but 18 is old enough to vote. People who have never owned slaves should pay slavery reparations to people who have never been slaves. People who have never been to college should pay the debts of college students who took out huge loans for their degrees.Immigrants with tuberculosis and polio are welcome, but you better be able to prove your dog is vaccinated. Irish doctors and German engineers who want to immigrate to the US must go through a rigorous vetting process, but any illiterate gangbangers who jump the southern fence are welcome. Five billion dollars for border security is too expensive, but 1.5 trillion for free healthcare is not.If you cheat to get into college, you go to prison, but if you cheat to get into the country, you go to college for free. People who say there is no such thing as gender are demanding a female president. We see other countries going socialist and collapsing, but it seems like a great plan to us.Some people are held responsible for things that happened before they were born, and other people are not held responsible for what they're doing right now. Criminals are caught and released to hurt more people, but stopping them is bad because it's a violation of their rights. And pointing out all this hypocrisy somehow makes us racist.Nothing makes sense anymore. No values, no morals, and no civility. People are dying of a Chinese virus, but it's racist to refer to it as Chinese, even though it began in China. We're clearly living in an upside-down world where right is wrong and wrong is right, where moral is immoral and immoral is moral, where good is evil and evil is good, where killing murderers is wrong, but killing unborn babies is a-okay.Wake up, America. The great unsinkable ship, Titanic America, has hit an iceberg, is taking on water, and is sinking fast. Speak up.

Weak. The spooky evil is mostly other people keeping rights. Votes still move courts, wages, and who gets crushed. The folks actually rewriting the rules wear suits and buy the refs.

That is a mood, not proof. People can change their minds without being possessed. A mean group chat is sad. It is not a national diagnosis.
If a man says he is a woman, you are required to pretend along.
Weak and mean. Trans people are not a costume bit. Using a name is basic respect, not a law that you play dress-up. Civil rights are not insanity.

Twisted. The census counts people who live here so seats and money get split. Skipping folks is how power hides. That is the old trick.
Russian election meddling is bad, but noncitizens voting is treated as good.
Weak. Noncitizens voting in federal races is already illegal, and it is rare. Foreign ops and dark money are real. This swaps a ghost for the people who buy the ads.
Biden blackmailing Ukraine was fine, but Trump asking about it was impeachable.
Weak. Biden pushed a public anti-corruption line, messy optics and all. Trump held aid to squeeze a political hit on a rival. Those are not the same homework.
You cannot drink at 18, but you can vote.
Partly true as a weird age line. You can also be sent to war at 18. The beer rule is a safety law, not a plot. If age lines bug you, start with the draft and the wage.
People who never owned slaves should pay people who were never slaves.
Weak frame. Slavery's cash did not vanish in 1865. It built land, loans, and who starts ahead. Repair is about that stolen head start, not a guilt costume for grandpa.
People who skipped college should pay off student loans.
Partly a tax gripe, aimed wrong. We already socialize bank bailouts and wars. Student debt is a profit machine for lenders. Workers paid for Wall Street. Funny how that was fine.
Immigrants with TB and polio are welcome, but your dog must be vaccinated.
Weak. We screen for TB. Polio is nearly gone because vaccines work. Pet rules are not a ranking of humans. Public health is not an open invite to disease.
Doctors get hard vetting, but illiterate gang members who jump the fence are welcome.
Racist cartoon. Most people at the border are workers and families fleeing messes we often helped make. Gangs are not the welcome mat. Illiterate is just a slur with a flag on it.

Cooked math. The health number is a scare balloon, often over many years. Covering people beats letting them die in the ER and calling it freedom. Walls are a photo. Insulin is the bill that kills.
Cheat into college and you go to prison. Cheat into the country and college is free.
False. Undocumented students do not get a free federal ride. Rich kids who cheat still land soft. The scam is who gets a second chance. It is usually the donor's kid.
People who say gender is not real still want a woman president.
Weak gotcha. Saying gender is not a strict box is not saying women vanish. Wanting a woman in power is about who got locked out. Brains can hold two ideas.
Socialism collapses other countries, yet we want it anyway.
Weak. Places with unions and health care are mostly social democracies, not a cartoon collapse. Real crashes often involve coups, sanctions, or oligarchs. Our version is medical bills and tents.
Some people get blamed for the past. Others skate on what they do now.
Partly a slogan. Nobody serious wants you jailed for 1850. They want bosses, polluters, and cops who skip consequences to face a bill now. History explains the head start. It is not a hall pass.
Criminals are released to hurt people, and stopping them violates their rights.
Messy, badly told. Due process is the right. Cash bail lets the rich walk and cages the poor. Release is not a hug for violence. The system fails victims and the accused. Usually the poor ones.
Pointing out this hypocrisy gets you called racist.
Unclear. Criticism is fine. This list dresses old stereotypes as logic. People push back because the jokes land on trans folks, immigrants, and Black repair, not on banks. That is the tell.
People died of a Chinese virus, but it is racist to say Chinese.
Weak. It began in China. Naming it after a people fed attacks on Asian Americans. We do not call the flu a nationality punishment. The precise name is COVID. The slur version got people hurt.
Killing murderers is wrong, but killing unborn babies is fine. The morals flipped.
Weak. The death penalty kills people the state already holds, and it gets innocent folks. Abortion is medical care about a pregnancy, mostly early, mostly people with no safety net. Those are not the same corpse.
America is the Titanic, sinking fast. Speak up.
The ship has holes. They are wages, climate, and billionaires drilling the hull. Yelling at neighbors about pronouns will not bail it. Speak up. Aim at the people holding the lifeboats.
